Thetis and Achilles

Here I am holding my son Achilles into the river Styx, to make him mortal. Thetis is holding him from his heel that's why the inmortal part of achilles are his heel.

Thetis..I am one of the most important goddess on the Olympus, because I played a prominent role in several important events in Greek myths.Im the daugther of Nero and Doris.Im the goddess of the sea and one of the fifty nereids, I have the power to change her shape at will and possessed the gift of prophesy.My husband name is Peleus(he was a mortal) and a magnific son named Achilles.
